Follow-up Material

Based on observations from teachers and Sahaja Meditation representatives involved in the Healthcorps-Sahaja Meditation collaboration and other meditation classes, it has been found that meditation becomes the most therapeutic and beneficial to students when it is practiced regularly. Daily meditation is essential to helping children achieve their truly highest potential. Due to the limited time that the youth activists of the Sahaja Meditation Tour will have with the children at each Boys and Girls Club, the following follow-up resources will be available for the kids, staff, and parents so that they can continue to reap the benefits of regular meditation long after the Sahaja Meditation Tour has left:

Teaching Boys and Girls Club Staff and Parents

While the Sahaja Meditation Tour stops at each Boys and Girls Club, the youth activists will teach the local Boys and Girls Club staff how to regularly implement and conduct meditation sessions during the day. In this way, children will get an opportunity to achieve that state of mental silence and inner balance regularly.

Parents of the students will also be invited to the third meditation program at each club. By learning how to meditate themselves, parents will be enabled to implement regular meditation for their children in their home environment.
